Aine eesmärk on:
- anda teadmisi finantsvaldkonna küberturvalisue eripäradest, regulatsioonidest ja turvaprotsesside ülesehitusest;
- suurendada üliõpilaste finantsvaldkonna spetsiifilisi küberturbealaseid teadmisi;
- omandada uusi teadmisi ja oskusi küberriskide maandamiseks igapäevatöös.

The goal of the course is to:
- provide knowledge about cyber security special cases in the financial domain as well as rules and regulations and construction of cyber security processes;
- increase the cyber security knowledge of the students in the financial domain;
- attain new skills and knowledge to mitigate cyber risks in the daily work.

Õppeaine läbinud üliõpilane:
- selgitab finantsvaldkonna infoturbeosakonnas töötamise eripärasid;
- analüüsib ja võrdleb erinevaid finantsvaldkonna infoturbe standardeid ja raamistikke;
- analüüsib erinevaid sisemisi ja väliseid infoturbe ohtusid finantsettevõttele;
- analüüsib erinevaid finantsettevõtete vastu suunatud küberkuritegevuse skeeme.

After passing the course the student:
- can explain the specialities of working in the cyber security domain in financial sector;
- analyses and compares different information security standards and frameworks for financial sector;
- analyses different internal and external cyber security threats for financial enterprises;
- analyses different cybercrime schemes targeting financial sector.

Finantsvaldkonna küberturvalisuse eripärade tutvustus – finantsettevõtte infovarade ja klientide turvalisuse tagamine. Õppeaine raames toimuvad erinevate ettevõtete külastused ja turvaekspertide loengud, tutvustatakse infoturbeosakondade tööd, antakse ülevaade klientide varade kaitsmise põhimõtetest, erinevatest pettuste ja rahapesu tõkestamise meetoditest ning finantsvaldkonna ja finantsettevõtete klientide vastu suunatud küberkuritegevusest. Kursus koosneb ühest loeng-seminarist ja kaheksast õppekäigust-külalisloengust.

Õppeaines osalejate arv on piiratud (20 inimest). Ainet deklareerida soovijad peavad esitama motiveeritud sooviavalduse vastutava õppejõu e-postile hiljemalt 5. septembriks.
brief description of the course in English
Introducing the specialities of cyber security in the financial domain - ensuring the security of information assets of the financial enterprises and its customers. During the course there will be study visits to different financial enterprises and lectures by cyber security experts, the work of information security departments or security operation centres will be introduced. Methods for defending the assets of the enterprise, as well as its customers, anti-money laundering, fraud prevention will be introduced, and an overview of cybercrime targeting financial domain and enterprises will be provided.The course consists of one lecture-seminar and 8 study visits-guest lectures.

The number of students is restricted (20). In order to declare the course the students must submit a letter of motivation to the responsible lecturer via e-mail by September 5th.
